lower elementary students attended 6 MSO full orchestra interactive educational concerts offered at Callaway High School.

third grade students attended 2 MSO full orchestra educational concerts at the Rose E. McCoy Auditorium on the campus of Jackson State University (these concerts are usually presented to all upper elementary students).
The MSO/JPS

partnership has been in existence for over 50 years and has won a Mississippi Governor’s Award for the Arts. It encompasses string instruction to students, full orchestra educational concerts and school visits by MSO’s three ensembles.
